Lamp lumen output is reduced by 15%, barely noticeable to the human eye. The Diva's large paddle switch makes the dimmer easy for anyone to turn on and off and matches other paddle switches. A discreet slide control acts as a pre-set and allows easy light adjustment. The switch glows softly making it easy to find in the dark. Designed for use with incandescent and halogen lamps. When paired with our high efficiency halogen lamps from Philips and General Electric, this switch will increase average rated lamp life to 9,000 to 12,600 hours (depending on bulb). These switches can be used in single-pole or 3-way applications. They'll handle a load of 600 watts. They're easy to install too: replace an existing switch in as little as 15 minutes.
