Lamp lumen output is reduced by 15%, barely noticeable to the human eye. With the Rotary dimmer, push the knob to turn lights on and off; turn the knob to select light level. Designed to work with incandescent and halogen lamps. When paired with our high efficiency halogen lamps from Philips and General Electric, this switch will increase average rated lamp life to 9,000 to 12,600 hours (depending on bulb). These switches can be used in single-pole or 3-way applications. They'll handle a load of 600 watts. They're easy to install too: replace an existing switch in as little as 15 minutes.
